Shanghai officials arrive for a training program

Twenty officials from Shanghai arrived in Syracuse for a 9-day training program at the Maxwell School on November 1.  The program, titled "Human Resources Management," is designed to provide participants with in-depth understanding of  the latest developments and reform trends in public administration, and, especially, human resources mangement in the Untied States. 

It is also intended to introduced to participants various models of leadership including collaborative leadership, strategic leadership and political leadership as well as leadership theory, practice and application. 

The majority of the delegation are from human resources and social security bureaus of various districts in Shanghai.

This is the fourth time that the Maxwell School has recieved Shanghai government officials in Syracuse.
