Research Interests

Forthcoming monograph Breaking Ranks: Women in Military, Police, & Fire Services Worldwide examines the experiences of women in three gender non-traditional occupations in a variety of cultural contexts.

Latin American International Relations explores inter-American and extra-regional political and economic relations, with special attention to regional economic integration patterns (e.g. NAFTA & MERCOSUR/MERCOSUL) and to UN-OAS security cooperation in recent peace operations.
