Declaring the Major

If you wish to schedule an advising appointment to discuss the major in International Relations (IR), the minor in Global Political Economy (GPE), or off-campus study opportunities with SU Abroad or in our “Maxwell-in-Washington” International Relations semester in Washington, DC, please contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Francine D'Amico, or Dr. Terrie Northrup.

To declare the IR major or GPE minor, undergraduate students must first complete one of the required introductory courses for that academic program with a grade of “B” or better.
