Welcome to the Moynihan European Research Centers!

The Center for European Studies and the Maxwell European Union Center foster interest in European Affairs at Syracuse.  Through visiting scholars, speakers series, workshops, student interest groups, film series, local outreach and fellowship granting we build transatlantic ties and promote greater understanding of the countries of Europe and the supranational structure of the European Union.

The Moynihan European Research Centers are happy to host the online home of the European Consortium for Political Research’s Standing Group on Interest Groups which links scholars and students interested in civil society in Europe.  We are also happy to host the international research project InterEuro, a collaborative project of 20 scholars at over a dozen universities in Europe and the US interested in the role of Civil Society in European political life.  We hope you enjoy navigating our pages and benefit from the information, research and data provided here.
