National
Security Leadership and Management Courses, Seminars, and Case Studies
The
National Security Management Course (NSMC) is a premiere two-week resident
course of instruction held at Syracuse University and the keynote event of the NSS
program. The course explores the wide range of emerging management
challenges facing domestic and international security professionals. The NSMC accomplishes that mission through
stimulating instruction, discussions, simulations and case studies.
NSS can
bring condensed versions of the NSMC to organizations around the world. These
seminars usually last 1 or 2 days and are customized to address the unique
requirements of a particular group.
NSS
also offers an extensive cadre of forward thinking speakers, case studies,
exercises, and simulations. NSS can host these events at Syracuse University,
or arrange to send them to your location.
Personal and Professional Development = Career
Advancement
Participants
in the class who satisfactorily complete the course receive an executive
certificate in national security management and many federal, state, and local
agencies count the NSMC toward their continuing education and promotion
requirements.
