NASPAA (National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration) is the membership association of graduate programs in public administration, public policy, and public affairs. NASPAA’s Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation is the specialized accreditor of these master degree programs. NASPAA’s twofold mission is to ensure excellence in education and training for public service and to promote the ideal of public service. The Maxwell School's MPA program is accredited.
APPAM's (Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management) membership includes individual and institutional members, practitioners, scholars and students. APPAM encourages excellence in research, teaching, and practice in the field of public policy analysis and management. The organization operates through its annual fall and spring conferences, a newsletter, and the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM).
ASPA (American Society for Public Administration) is the professional home for over 10,000 PA practitioners, academics and students. Its mission is to advance excellence in public service. ASPA was established 59 years ago to professionalize the public service, to keep members on the cutting edge of good government, and to help answer the enduring question of how to make government work better.
APSIA (The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs) comprises 29 member schools in the United States, Asia and Europe dedicated to the improvement of professional education in international affairs and the advancement thereby of international understanding, prosperity, peace, and security. APSIA members work to promote excellence in professional, international affairs education worldwide by sharing information and ideas among member schools and with other higher education institutions, the international affairs community, and the general public. APSIA.org serves as a clearinghouse of information for prospective students and employers.
IPMN The mission of the (International Public Management Network) is to provide a forum for sharing ideas, concepts and results of research and practice in the field of public management, and to stimulate critical thinking about alternative approaches to problem solving and decision making in the public sector.
